Ok so I had that same incident happen to tim, avi, and me. It was after we finished and we grabbed an offroad cart from the help cabin. At first we were pulling the stuff and walking but then the noises got to unbearable. We put avi in the cart and then sprinted all the way to camp it felt really really quick and plus avi was laughing the entire time
Nature is just one of God’s many blessings. My last encounter with nature was one of my favorites. It all happened in September on Cumberland island. Billy, Tim, and I had decided to go do some late night fishing. When we got to the dock we realized we had forgotten the hooks. I agreed to be the person that went back to camp for hooks. In the daytime the walk to camp was relaxing and the nature was beautiful and peaceful ,but at night the path felt ten times longer and the sound of animals in the bushes was not peaceful. I managed to make it to camp without being attacked by an unseen animal. At camp I grabbed the hooks and some chocolate. I then began my journey back. The first part of the path was fairly quiet with the occasional noise of a lizard rustleing some leaves around. As I reached the midpoint of the path I heard something huge making noise in the bushes. I was scared I froze up for what felt like a minute. I began pointing my flashlight toward the noise hoping to see the animal or at least the glow of its eyes. I didn’t see anything but I kept looking and then it ran out across the path and I saw that it was just an armadillo. After feeling relieved I began running as fast as I could to reach the end of the path. I think that was the fastest I’ve ever ran. I shortened a ten minute walk to a one minute run ,but I thought all the fear was worth it after reeling in two sharks.
If I had the capability of building something great this is what i would want it to do. Alright imagine their is a party tonight and your a little shaky and you can’t decide whether to go or not? You had this little device which is the size of a small cell phone which is called the ULTIMATE POLYGON. At the last party these people threw you had the ULTIMATE POLYGON with you and it examined the party and how much fun you had. Then it makes the decision for you. It can also tell you the outcome of both decisions before your plans are official. It would have the capability of helping people very much. It could also help in other circumstances like if you want to take a day off of work. If you decide that you just need a day off and don’t want to worry about getting fired. Give it a try but we are not positive your job will still be waiting? I would not reccomend using this for any really important decisions, but for the smaller decisions feel free. That would be my invention.
Robin Hood is my favorite movie of all time. I have many reasons for this movie being my favorite. One reason is that I’m actually named after Little John. My parents did have a name for me yet, and E yelled out lets name him John and my parents did. Another reason is that this is an awesome movie if you haven’t seen this entire movie yet you better have an amazing excuse. I grew up watching this movie, and muzzy but that’s another story. I have seen this movie countless times and it never gets old I still laugh. This movie is also one of the many awesome movies produced by Disney. This movie is an awesome childhood memory it takes me back and reminds me how awesome my younger childhood years really were. Kris you asked to know how this movie has changed my life and the fact that I get my name from it is pretty important.
The day before Thanksgiving was my birthday so i stayed up late. It was so fun we have Fifa 2007 and I was destroying Billy. On Thanksgiving Day I slept in late because it was the day after my birthday. When I finally woke up Billy and Aaron were playing Guitar Hero so I just had to play with them. A few songs later Kennet walked in and Billy just felt the need to play Fifa with Kennet, so me and Aaron just watched. When Kennet left to go eat With Pastor Kris and his family me and Aaron took over the video games. We played video games for most of the day with breaks in between for work and food. At five P.M we began to eat our Thanksgiving meal which consisted of turkey, mashed potatoes, and ham. It was a pretty basic Thanksgiving meal. After eating Tim came over. We played more video games and Billy once again took over. It was ok because Sim and Ryan were coming over. At around 11 Sim and Ryan came over for a little midnight shopping. We played more video games then watched some youtube. Simeon is possibly the worst person at whispering ever. Sim, Aaron, and Tim went to bed at 2:30, but me and ryan stayed up trying to do some stuff with his ipod. We stayed up till 3:30 A.M but accomplished nothing which was pretty dissapointing. I wouldn’t have cared if I didn’t have to get up at 5:30 to go shopping. All and all that was an awesome Thanksgiving.
Once again we went to the awesome Cumberland Island for a holiday. It was great; a lot of people came. In our camp site alone were 10 people (My family plus Tim and Kennett). We decided to go a day early, which was fine with me because that meant more fishing. We got to the island and had to go through orientation, which is always so boring. After that we set up camp. This is always exciting because my dad is trying to set up the tents and my mom is giving him advice on how to set up the tents, then he just gets frustrated. It’s really funny. After we got camp set up I tried to go fishing but my parents foiled my plans. They told me to go get firewood, then I could go fishing. We got the firewood then began the hike to the river. We got cold and we weren’t catching fish so we went back to camp. We had chili for dinner. We had not eaten all day and it was cold out so it was perfect. The next day other families started arriving like the Mckees, the Hicksons, the Powers, and the Blairs. While they were setting up their camps we decided to go on a trail. We started walking down a path to head back but it was the wrong path. We saw a whole animal corpse like you see on movies and then we kept seeing bones everywhere so we turned around got back on the other path and headed up a little farther. We then found the right path and headed back to camp for more fishing. We caught a few sting rays, but thats it. The next day everyone rented bikes and went on a bike ride but Tim, Aaron, Kyle, and I went fishing. The ferry was headed towards the dock. Tim, Aaron, and Kyle had already headed to the other side of the dock. I was moving all my stuff when all of a sudden I got a huge tug on my pole. Avigail was like, “ooh ooh John your getting a bite!” I ran up and grabbed my pole and yanked it to make sure the fish was hooked. I had to move to the other side of the dock so that the boat would not run over my line and free the fish. It took about 20-30 minutes to reel in. At first i thought it was a shark but then I got it close enough to the dock and saw that it was a red fish. I was freaking out! I pulled it out of the water with the help of Tim. K took pictures and then I released it. I was so happy. The rest of the trip was fun but we didn’t catch anymore fish.

Mr. Smith is a boy scout leader who loves hanging out with his scouts. Mr. Taylor was a man holding a lot of political power. Do to the death of a senate member Mr. Taylor tried to replace the position with someone who would listen to whatever he said. Hubert, Mr. Taylor’s second hand man, made the announcement of the new senate member the people became enraged so to please the people they put Mr. Smith in. They chose Mr. Smith because he knew little about being a member of the senate. The first day Mr. Smith arrived in Washington he tried to see all the large monuments in one day. (Having just been to Washington I don’t know how he saw four monuments in one day.) Trying to do this made him late for an appointment to meet the secratary, Chlarissa. The next day he had a press conference. The reporters changed around some of his words to wear it made him seem like he did not like being in DC. When he read the articles he started running around punching reporters.(That was my favorite part of the movie.) He chased one reporter all the way to the news place. When Mr. Smith got in he was about to punch that reporter in the face also, but the other people in their stopped him. Joseph Paine was Mr. Smith’s fathers best buddy. Joseph Paine reads the article about Mr. Smith not liking DC and becomes mad, so in a way he tells Mr. Smith to lay low. Paine tells Mr. Smith to work on a bill thinking that will keep them both out of trouble. Mr. Smith being the boy scout leader he is, wants to pass a bill that will give all boy scouts a place where they can go for a boy scout trip. The place where he wants to build his boy scout retreat is on Willet Creek. Paine had not filled Mr. Smith in on the fact that they plan to build a dam where he wanted his camp. Mr. Smith went to the secretary Chlarissa to get the bill made. When she heard about him building on Willet Creek she also did not tell him. Mr. Smith got the bill made and when they had a senate meeting he announced his bill. Paine asked for him to yield to him and let him speak Mr. Smith thinking that paine would help promote his plan yielded. Much to Mr. Smiths surprise Paine turned the entire bill on him. Paine had False signatures showing that Mr. Smith knew their was plans to build in that area. The rest of the movie was about Mr. Smith fighting against the dam bill. At the end Mr. Smith held the floor for at least 18 hours. Paine brought in papers supposedly from Mr. Smiths town they said all the negative things that everyone else was saying. Mr. Smith said one more speech then fainted from exhaustion. Then you find Paine has a soft heart and that he admits all the wrong he had done so Mr. Smith wins and gets his boy scout retreat. I have chosen to write my blog on the 9/11 memorial. Which is about the plane that crashed into the pentagon on September 11, 2001 . One reason I chose this memorial is because it touched me the most. I’m not even gonna lie the Washington wasn’t really what I expected. The Washington was good but the guide kinda made me mad. Some lady brought up that there was scripture on the inside wall as we rode the elevator down. The guide responded saying that there was no scripture and that it was a pagan temple. Whatever, the 9/11 memorial didn’t have a guide so we got to look and think about the stuff ourselves. That really helped me to appreciate the memorial that much more. When we first arrived at the memorial I was kinda tired and ready to go back to our guest homes. It turned out to be my favorite memorial well it was kinda tied with the Lincoln. The Lincoln was awesome it felt like a more serious memorial all lit up and stuff. The 9/11 memorial was also lit up but what really got me was how it was set up by the years the people were born. I mean there was a little girl that was only three when the plane crashed and took her life. It also took her older sisters life who was eight and it took her fathers life. Whatever person had to go thru that must have experienced the worst pain imaginable. The set up of the memorial was also just planned so awesomely. They weren’t really tombstones. They were more like a bench or seat thing and on the edge was the name of the person. It’s hard to describe but there was water flowing under the bench. The entire area where the bench things were there was covered with little pebbles as opposed to grass. And if you were looking to the west to the left was the younger people and as you went right the people got older. I forget how old the oldest person was.
